Ukrainian singer Jamala will perform 15th in a second semi-final of Eurovision song contest, according to the official Eurovision website.
Second semi-final is scheduled on May 12, 2016, and a grand-final will be held on May 14.
Eurovision Song Contest voting rules have been changed. New rules are the biggest change to the system since 1975, reports 112.international.
Voting will be split. Each country’s jury will cast their votes first. Votes from viewers from all countries will be combined and announced at the end. Juries and voters will award a set of points from 1 to 8 then 10 and 12 for each of the top 10 places.
Ukrainian singer Jamala won the final of the national contest Eurovision-2016. She received 6 points for her song “1944” about the destiny of Crimean Tatars.
With this song Jamala wants to attract attention of the world community to the problem of occupation of Crimea.
Nine designers of Vogue UA presented their drafts for Jamala’s dress in Stockholm. All costume versions are presented exclusively on the web site of Vogue UA. In the upcoming week, Jamala with the Vogue team will make the final decision.
